Fechometal USA is seeking a dependable and motivated Metalworking Helper to support our production team. This role is essential to maintaining efficient operations and ensuring high-quality output. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, follows safety standards, and is eager to grow in a fast-paced industrial environment.
What You'll Do
Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting metal materials and finished products.
Support machine operators by preparing materials and cleaning equipment.
Organize and distribute tools, supplies, and materials for daily production tasks.
Clean and prepare metal surfaces using grinders, brushes, and other hand tools.
Assist in assembling metal components according to technical specifications.
Perform basic inspections to identify defects or irregularities.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Follow safety procedures and use required PPE at all times.
Monitor inventory levels of consumables and report shortages.
Complete basic production and maintenance logs as required.
Requirements
Previous experience in industrial or metalworking environments is a plus.
Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods.
Basic knowledge of tools, equipment, and safety protocols.
Strong teamwork skills and willingness to learn.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
